Network Engineer V

Meta seeks a senior Connectivity Engineer to join the Design Engineering and Construction team, driving the full project lifecycle for the physical infrastructure of Meta’s global data centers. Responsibilities include project planning and control, collaboration with site construction management, documenting efficiencies and best practices, forecasting and budgeting support, and ensuring on-schedule, within-budget delivery with quality standards. Core connectivity work covers managing landlord OSP infrastructure, ensuring rack/patch/stack compliance, troubleshooting network turnup during provisioning, coordinating with ENS/RSE for provisioning, and performing QA/QC of connectivity scope. The role entails overseeing vendor site-level safety programs, validating designs and deliverables, and supporting change orders and RFI responses. Desired capabilities include experience in meta/hyperscale data center construction environments, design-build delivery, strong documentation (SOPs/SIPs/RFI), scheduling and risk mitigation, and independent field decision-making. Strong emphasis on coordinating with vendors, field coordination, and ensuring adherence to lease specifications and QA/QC across the network build.
