Job Summary
Network Engineer role focused on providing Network Operations support for small/medium projects. Collaborates with Network Operations team to translate client and business needs into technical and operational requirements, develops system requirements and use cases, assesses impact on existing applications, coordinates testing and UAT, and works with development teams to implement enhancements with minimal client impact. Performs troubleshooting, participates in peer reviews of solution design, reviews vendor documents for compliance, and identifies discrepancies in analytical procedures. CCNA/CCNP certification preferred; hands-on experience with Cisco/Cisco Meraki, cloud and network security tools, ITIL, data center/NOC/SOC environments, and vendor solution evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- CCNA or CCNP certification
- Experience with network devices (Cisco, Cisco Meraki)
- Proficient with cloud and network security platforms (SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Infoblox)
- Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools and optimization
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (ITIL)
- Experience in data center, NOC, and SOC environments
- Ability to develop test cases and perform user acceptance testing
- Ability to review vendor documents and ensure solutions meet requirements
- Ability to interpret client and business needs into technical requirements
