Job Summary
Network Engineer responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of the Network team that designs scalable, highly available architectures aligned to business objectives and SLAs. Responsibilities include managing WAN/LAN/WLAN, configuring Meraki devices, Cisco Catalyst switches, firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco), NAC (ISE), load balancers (F5, Netscaler), VPN services, WLAN controllers and access points, network monitoring (Prime, SolarWinds, Syslog, Scrutinizer), and ensuring 24x7 uptime. Requires 5+ years of WAN/LAN experience, CCNA preferred, multi-vendor equipment experience, and familiarity with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLAN/HSRP/VRRP, MPLS, and SD-WAN; travel up to 50% onsite in Anderson, SC. Must be able to document designs and configurations using Word, Excel, and Visio.
Required Qualifications
- CCNA is preferred
- 5+ years' experience in WAN & LAN network operation
- Skill to design, implement and troubleshoot data network
- Experience with dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Experience with multi-vendor network equipment (Fortinet, Juniper, Riverbed, F5)
- Knowledge of VLANs, Spanning Tree, HSRP/VRRP, DHCP
- Understanding of MPLS and SD-WAN is a plus
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS) is a plus
- Ability to create documentation in Word, Excel, and Visio
