Job Summary
Deliver end-to-end network and security-driven solutions for the new trading platform and customer access network. Collaborate with management and network designers to identify needs, select hardware and software, and adapt solutions to business unit requirements. Liaise with vendors and suppliers while contributing to documentation and knowledge base updates. Be accountable for service delivery performance and driving future demand. Implement and manage large-scale, mission-critical networks using core technologies like BGP, OSPF, and Multicast across enterprise and DC environments.
Required Qualifications
- At least minimum of 4+ years of experience in the field of networking
- Experience working as a Network Engineer specialized in delivery
- Experience in Enterprise networks
- Experience in DC networks
- Experience with Security appliances (F5 Load Balancer, Firewalls, etc.)
- Experience in Cloud networks
- Deep understanding of core network technologies (BGP (eBGP and iBGP), OSPF, MPBGP, Multicast, MLAG, VLANs, etc.)
- Deep understanding of security technologies (Firewalling, Load Balancing)
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing BGP, OSPF routing protocols and Multicast technologies
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale networks and mission critical networks
- Extensive knowledge of the main network and security vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiating skills in managing a wide variety of stakeholders including vendors, partners and suppliers
- Tertiary degree in computer science/engineering/telecommunications
- Vendor certifications CCIE, CCNP, CCAr, Arista, F5, Palo Alto etc.
- Experience with Network monitoring Software (SolarWinds)
