Job Summary
Manage and maintain network operations to ensure high availability and performance, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switching, routing, and SDWAN solutions. Implement and maintain network security measures using Palo Alto Networks and Prisma Access, while optimizing wireless networks on Aruba systems. Resolve network issues through ticket management and provide timely support, including coverage during U.S. off-hours and on-site work as required. This role supports growth-stage companies by applying 80% of time to strategic solution design and 20% to implementation, fostering long-term client relationships within a team that values deep technical ownership and flexible skill development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or related field
- Proven 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Cisco technologies
- Strong knowledge of network operations and troubleshooting
- Expertise in Cisco switching, routing, and SDWAN
- Experience with Nexus switches and Nexus Dashboard
- Familiarity with wireless networking, particularly Aruba systems
- Knowledge of network security, specifically Palo Alto Networks (PAN) solutions
- Understanding of Prisma Access and Global Protect client interactions
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Ability to work flexible hours to provide coverage during U.S. off-hours
- Willingness to work on-site as required by the business
Desired Qualifications
- AWS cloud networking experience is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
