Job Summary
Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise routing and switching environments using Cisco, Juniper, and Meraki platforms. Lead configuration, optimization, and lifecycle management of SD-WAN solutions including Silver Peak, alongside Palo Alto firewalls for segmentation and secure connectivity. Monitor performance, troubleshoot outages, and drive root-cause analysis for complex incidents across multi-site locations. Participate in network architecture planning, capacity forecasting, and modernization efforts while creating operational documentation. Provide escalation support for high-priority production issues and mentor junior engineers. This role requires 5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering with hands-on expertise in enterprise routing, switching, and SD-WAN. Hybrid schedule of 2-3 days on-site after the first 6 months.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering
- Deep expertise in enterprise routing and switching
- Strong hands-on background with Palo Alto firewalls
- Proven experience implementing or supporting SD-WAN
- Ability to troubleshoot across layers (routing, security, transport)
- Experience working in distributed, multi-location environments
- Comfortable leading projects and making architecture recommendations
- Strong documentation and communication skills
