Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve network faults in the Industrial IT environment through industry-standard testing and diagnostic procedures. Lead the development and implementation of network architectures while managing security rights, software licenses, and supplier relationships. Contribute to technical strategy by defining requirements, reviewing project compliance, and producing architectural documentation. Train technicians, resolve cross-functional issues, and monitor system availability through proactive configurations. Report progress to management, control budgets, and maintain professional liaison with clients and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant Information Technology Certifications/Qualifications
- Completed IT Diploma/Degree (Advantageous)
- Cisco Qualifications (Essential)
- 6 – 7 years of relevant IT technical experience
- Strong understanding of IT Infrastructures, especially Networking, Mesh networks, and RF networks
- Strong understanding of IT Network architectures, Firewall Management, DMZ, and Security in networks
- System analysis and integration
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco / Wireless Mesh Architectures
- Ability to effectively use judgement
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate other team players
Desired Qualifications
- Completed IT Diploma/Degree (Advantageous)
- RF Qualifications (Advantageous)
- MCSE/MCSA/MCITP or equivalent Microsoft qualification (Advantageous)
- Dell/HP Certification (Advantageous)
- Network Security Certification (Advantageous)
