Job Summary
Design, configure, integrate, test, and support secure network solutions; deploy and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and boundary devices; optimize network performance, throughput, scalability, and reliability; monitor and troubleshoot network issues using WhatsUpGold and NetFlow; support WAN/LAN architectures and high-speed network topologies; collaborate with systems engineering and cross-functional teams to define and implement requirements; analyze network traffic and develop firewall rule sets; support security planning, risk analysis, and implementation of secure architectures; validate network dataflows, interfaces, and security device configurations; provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support large-scale engineering efforts; must hold TS/SCI w/ Polygraph and U.S. Citizenship; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience supporting complex network engineering programs or contracts
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and firewalls
- Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools including WhatsUpGold and NetFlow
- Knowledge of secure network design and boundary protection solutions
- Experience optimizing network performance and minimizing latency
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise network environments
- CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship
