Network Engineer, Specialist

Job Summary
Install, configure, and integrate new network technologies while conducting pilots and ensuring installations meet standards. Provide advanced network design, debugging, and capacity planning services to development teams and resolve complex issues escalated from support groups. Monitor system performance, identify failing components, and implement improvements to automate manual tasks. Develop and maintain telecom network documentation, train staff, and recommend training vendors. Thoroughly understand and comply with information technology and security policies. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years related work experience
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Network experience preferred
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) preferred
