Job Summary
Network Engineer role supporting and implementing network and systems infrastructure. Responsibilities include remote and on-site support for servers, workstations, and network devices; installation and configuration of network equipment (Cisco, SonicWALL, Meraki, HP, Dell); Active Directory and Group Policy management; comprehensive troubleshooting of software/hardware, network connectivity, and security threats; software deployments; virtualization with VMware/Hyper-V; backup and disaster recovery management; documentation of procedures; collaboration with project managers on IT initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supporting and implementing network and systems infrastructure solutions
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and desktop operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policies, and network troubleshooting methodologies
- Experience with Cisco networking, CLI configuration, and network security concepts
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Citrix, RMM platforms, and enterprise-class network equipment
- VMware and Hyper-V virtualization experience
- Backup solutions experience (StorageCraft, Datto, Veeam)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
