Job Summary

Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our network infrastructure to support healthcare services across multiple locations and in Azure. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and managing network security with Palo Alto products, enforcing policy with Aruba Clearpass, architecting and maintaining Azure-based network infrastructure with high availability and load balancing, integrating on-premises and cloud systems, monitoring and managing networks with SolarWinds and NetBox, and designing scalable architectures (including BGP) for 260+ locations. Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors for incident response, troubleshooting, and comprehensive network documentation (diagrams, configurations, SOPs) is required. Hybrid remote work option available at Eagle, ID location. The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, proactive problem-solving, and ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer with expertise using Palo Alto and Azure technologies
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of routing, switching, VPN technologies, and firewall configurations
  • Experience designing networks over multiple regions
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Preferred Qualifications: CCNP, Microsoft Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Experience with automation tools
