Job Summary
Design, configure, secure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure across production environments. Focus areas include Routing & Switching, Firewalls & VPNs, Network Security, Monitoring & Troubleshooting, Cloud Networking, and Performance Optimization. Work with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet within hybrid cloud and multi-site enterprise networks. Responsibilities cover enterprise network configuration and maintenance (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPNs), implementing VLANs, QoS, VPN tunnels, ACLs, and network segmentation; configuring routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP); firmware upgrades, patch management, and hardware maintenance; monitoring network health with SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, and Zabbix; performing root cause analysis and remediation documentation; ensuring security/compliance (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, Zero Trust, secure remote access); creating runbooks, topology maps, and change documentation; collaborating with DevOps and cloud teams on AWS, Azure, and GCP networking; targeting 99.9% uptime and enterprise reliability.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Network Engineering or related fields
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, VPNs, ACLs, BGP, OSPF
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Ability to design, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure
- CCNP/CCIE certifications and Palo Alto or Fortinet certifications are a plus
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments
- Strong documentation and communication skills
