Network Engineer

Job Summary
Configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs across multi-site and hybrid environments. Monitor network health using SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, and Zabbix to diagnose latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues while performing root-cause analysis and implementing preventive solutions. Manage routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP, ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR, and support on-call rotation for critical incidents. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to execute migrations, capacity planning, and zero trust implementations. Maintain accurate documentation and topology maps following structured change management processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional Network Engineering experience
- Hands-on experience managing enterprise networking environments
- Strong knowledge of OSPF
- Strong knowledge of BGP
- Strong knowledge of EIGRP
- Experience configuring routers
- Experience configuring switches
- Experience configuring firewalls
- Experience configuring VPN environments
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting platforms
- Strong experience with Cisco networking environments or equivalent enterprise platforms
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP
- Solid understanding of DNS
- Solid understanding of DHCP
- Solid understanding of VLANs
- Solid understanding of QoS
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

- Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications
- Experience with Palo Alto
- Experience with Fortinet
- Experience with Juniper
- Experience supporting AWS VPCs
- Experience supporting Azure VNets
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud networking
- Familiarity with Python
- Familiarity with Ansible
- Familiarity with Terraform
- Experience supporting multi-site enterprise environments
- Exposure to Zero Trust networking models and modern security frameworks
