Job Summary
React and resolve cases submitted or automatically alerted by monitoring tools, troubleshooting basic issues and providing solution recommendations. Perform minor software upgrades on network infrastructure and conduct proactive performance assessments to identify optimization opportunities. Assist with information gathering and reporting to clients or Client Success Managers while collaborating with senior engineers to escalate issues as needed. Develop and maintain technical knowledge base articles and interact with clients via virtual meetings, phone, email, or messaging. Participate in on-call rotation, noting that after-hours or weekend work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 1 -3 years in Cisco or other network related environments
- Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment and technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and sense of ownership
- Experience working for an MSP
- Experience navigating ticketing systems, e.g. Service Now
- Experience using monitoring tools, e.g. Logic Monitor
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications in Information Technology, or a related field are a plus
- Have or working toward entry level certifications, e.g. CCNA, Azure Fundamentals, etc
