Job Summary
Network Engineer for a government-contract engagement in Washington, DC requiring an active TS/SCI clearance. The role involves identifying insider threats via advanced analytics, supporting the client’s network infrastructure and capacity-management activities, overseeing the High Speed Guard Cross Domain solution, documenting configurations, designing recapitalization plans to handle growth, and serving as the SME for the client’s network infrastructure. Ideal candidates have proven leadership, strong written/oral communication, and experience creating technical documents, analyses, and executive briefings related to defense-in-depth security and LAN/WAN architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Prior leadership responsibilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experienced in developing and maintaining technical documents, analyses, and reports
- Experience with preparing and presenting briefings to senior management and stakeholders
- Working knowledge of defense-in-depth principles, network/HW/SW security architecture, network topology, IT device integrity, and common security elements
