Job Summary
Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across complex environments using Cisco and Arista; configure, deploy, and sustain network infrastructure; apply SSP/STE/STN compliance; design and implement VPNs, firewalls, NAT, IPSec, GRE, and load balancing; monitor performance and support upgrades; maintain documentation; mentor junior engineers; participate in on-call operational support; travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience with Cisco and Arista configuration, deployment, and sustainment
- Experience supporting enterprise LAN, CAN, and WAN networking environments
- Familiarity with SSP, STE, and STN compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of network security, routing, switching, and performance optimization
- Experience with VPNs, VoIP, IPSec, NAT, GRE tunneling, and traffic shaping
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues in mission-critical environments
- Willingness to travel as needed and participate in on-call operational support
- Strong collaboration, communication, and technical documentation skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline OR Bachelor’s with multiple years of experience OR sixteen years of experience in lieu of a degree with relevant certification
