Job Summary
Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across complex environments using Cisco and Arista technologies; optimize performance, ensure SSP/STE/STN compliance, configure and deploy network gear including VPNs, firewalls, NAT, GRE tunneling, and VoIP; monitor latency and throughput, support upgrades and modernization, maintain documentation and accreditation, collaborate with engineers and operations, and provide guidance to junior engineers. Requires on-call support and travel.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience with Cisco and Arista configuration, deployment, and sustainment
- Experience supporting enterprise LAN, CAN, and WAN networking environments
- Familiarity with SSP, STE, and STN compliance requirements to network devices
- Strong understanding of network security, routing, switching, and performance optimization
- Experience with VPNs, VoIP, IPSec, NAT, GRE tunneling, and traffic shaping
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network and infrastructure issues in mission-critical environments
- Willingness to travel as needed and participate in on-call operational support
- Strong collaboration, communication, and technical documentation skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or related discipline AND six years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree AND eight years OR twelve years of experience in lieu of a degree with relevant certification such as Arista CCNA or Juniper track
- DoD 8570.01-M compliant IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security)
- Active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph clearance
