Job Summary
Design and support network infrastructure including system-level architecture, datacenter virtualization, and enterprise security boundaries. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices while managing TCP/IP protocols, routing/switching, and stateful firewalls. Install physical network components, maintain IPSEC VPNs, and utilize ticketing systems to track live call environment tasks. Support on-call rotation requirements for network monitoring and protection duties. Requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification and demonstrable experience in LAN architecture, monitoring, and datacenter design.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with both Polygraphs
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university
- 3 years minimum experience OR No Degree + 5 years minimum experience OR 3 years demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection
- datacenter network design and architecture experience
- installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks
- 2 years of additional relevant experience (substitutable for a bachelor's degree)

- Able to support on-call requirements
- Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking
- Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers
