Job Summary
Build and operate multi-vendor, multi-region hybrid cloud networks at scale while initiating initiatives to improve deployment quality and velocity through code, testing, and validation. Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks, integrate automation into capacity workflows, and enhance network visibility. Maintain production network reliability by implementing best practices for routing, switching, and security protocols. Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to support large-scale distributed systems processing trillions of events daily. Requires 7+ years of experience in network automation with Python or Go, familiarity with Ansible and Terraform, and US citizenship. Base salary range $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
- 7+ years of experience in building and operating multi-vendor, multi-region production networks including 4+ years primarily focused on network automation
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code — Ansible, Terraform, and NETCONF/YANG or gNMI/OpenConfig
- Experience writing and maintaining production-quality code in Python (or Go), and familiarity with Git-based workflows, code review, testing, and CI/CD
- Experience operating in FedRAMP or other regulated environments
- Expert in various routing and switching protocols, such as IPv6, MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EVPN, VxLAN, QoS, IPSEC, MACsec
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes
