Job Summary
Design, implement, and troubleshoot data communications systems across all locations while providing third-level network support and problem resolution. Manage network architecture planning, WAN/LAN capacity, and configuration changes, ensuring stable environments through rigorous monitoring, reporting, and documentation. Evaluate hardware and software solutions for data centers and branches, collaborating with NOC, operations, and vendors to execute enterprise-level projects. Maintain business recovery procedures and security-conscious designs using tools like PRTG and Arista Cloud Vision. Requires five to seven years of networking experience with Cisco, Arista, and Fortinet technologies, including complex BGP routing and SD-WAN. Daily on-site presence at the Irondale, AL datacenter is preferred, with minimal travel.
Required Qualifications
- You must be eligible to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining critical environments
- 5 – 7 years networking experience
- Wide-area networking technologies, protocols, and related hardware (Cisco, Arista, Fortinet, etc.)
- High-end L2/L3 routing and switching – spine and leaf (prefer Arista or Cisco)
- SD-WAN/VPN/Basic Firewall (Prefer Fortinet)
- Data Center, Cloud, Branch and Internet connectivity – Complex BGP routing
- Extensive experience with Ethernet switching, packet analysis, and large-scale LAN and WAN deployments
- Experience with network disaster recovery implementations
- Strong written & verbal communications skills
- Minimal travel
- Prefer daily on-site at Irondale, AL datacenter but will entertain remote for superior candidate
