Network Engineer II

Job Summary
Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, and VPN solutions while maintaining and optimizing network performance, reliability, and capacity. Perform ongoing maintenance including patching, upgrades, and hardware lifecycle management, and troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a production environment. Support incident response, root cause analysis, and on-call responsibilities to ensure configurations meet security and compliance requirements. Contribute to documentation, standards, and continuous improvement efforts. This role reports to the Senior Infrastructure Operations Manager within a multi-site enterprise environment, focusing on building, fixing, and improving critical systems that the business depends on daily.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of network engineering and/or operations experience
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies
- Experience supporting enterprise, multi-site network environments
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- A complete background including drug screen is contingent upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Cisco (including Meraki), Palo Alto networking platforms (including IONs and Panorama), Arista (including CloudVision), or comparable technologies
- Familiarity with PCI compliance requirements
- Familiarity with LogicMonitor
- Exposure to cloud or hybrid networking environments
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools
