Job Summary
Respond to Tier 1-3 network support requests, including all break/fix tasks for network resources. Design campus network extensions and connections while configuring and deploying new or replacement hardware. Monitor resources for faults and traffic anomalies, then resolve connection issues between users and resources. Maintain detailed change history, inventory records, and architecture documentation. Support ITS Field Maintenance for communications implementation and troubleshooting, while contributing to cybersecurity controls, threat hunting, and mitigation efforts. Manage time and resource constraints effectively. Requires five years of experience in Cisco Routing and Switching, VLAN Management, Network Design, Access Control Lists, Subnetting, Routing Protocols, Authentication, Cisco FMC/Firepower, Network Monitoring, DNS/DHCP, and Network Security.
