Job Summary
Manage IP networking components in a 24/7 SaaS environment by initiating projects for new network product offerings and operational improvements. Integrate business partners and acquisitions into supportable designs while reviewing network incident history to execute preventive measures. Troubleshoot connectivity issues, communicate with customers, and assist in network activations for field personnel. Provide capacity analysis and planning, and manage network service providers and equipment. Partner with architects to improve WAN connectivity and execute change requests. Requires 3-5 years of experience with Cisco IOS-XE, MPLS, OSPF, and BGP. Fully remote or hybrid (3 days/week) based on location.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Medium to large networks, IP Routing, Switching, and Security principles
- Demonstrate knowledge of platform operating systems (router platforms, LAN, WAN, and router protocols) MPLS, OSPF, and BGP, and how they interact with the network
- Demonstrate knowledge of real-time traffic queuing and prioritizing on LAN and WAN networks
- Demonstrated operational success with an exceptionally strong data-driven analytical approach towards solving complex challenges
- Experience with implementations of solutions involving large data centers, inter-business routing plans, site2site IPSEC VPNs, FWs and MPLS VPNs
- Hands-on skills for Cisco IOS-XE is required
- Documenting solutions with diagrams and proper description is required
- Knowledge and experience in Cisco Nexus 7k, ASR 1000 and 9000 Routers, SSL-VPN
- Excellent communications, both oral and written
- Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 30 mile radius of one of our offices. For candidates who reside within a 30 mile radius of one of our offices, this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (T, W, TH) in office
Desired Qualifications
- Cisco IOS-XR and Nexus OS preferred

- Telecommunications experience - VoIP, RTP, SIP peering/trunking and SBC is a huge plus
- Experience with incident response, information assurance, computer security best practices, system hardening, vulnerability management, antivirus, SIEM, firewalls, IPS/IDS monitoring, and techniques for analyzing TCP/IP network traffic and event logs
- Knowledge of Linux network functions
- Saas/Cloud-based software environment a plus
- Knowledge of Cisco ACI
- Knowledge on AWS and GCP Cloud platforms
