Job Summary

Plan, design, and develop LANs and WANs across the organization, ensuring proper installation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. Provide daily support for LAN, WAN, and wireless infrastructures by monitoring, administering, and troubleshooting to maximize service availability. Deliver high-level technical leadership for network environments and perform independent research to prepare direction papers and operational standards. Execute complex migrations, upgrades, and new technology deployments while applying security concepts to emerging cloud solutions like Azure and AWS. Resolve incidents and change requests in accordance with SLAs and approved maintenance windows, conducting root cause analysis for network outages when required.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience providing Network Engineering support
  • 5+ years' experience managing relationships with senior technical customers
  • 3+ years' experience working with cloud-based infrastructures (AWS & Azure)
  • 3+ supporting Cisco/Fortinet/Palo Alto firewalls
  • 3+ supporting F5 load balancers
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools
  • Extensive experience with the following technologies BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, QoS, PBR, VSS, HSRP, STP, WAN Optimization technologies, and Cisco Nexus
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco ISE in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools Terraform, Ansible, and/or Python
  • Experience with hands-on network engineering operations and support
  • Ability to resolve incidents, problems, and change requests in accordance with service-level agreements (SLA's) and approved maintenance windows
  • Ability to author or supplement existing documentation to reflect environmental changes
  • Strong analytical network troubleshooting skills and proficiency with packet capture tools
  • Ability to perform complex migrations/upgrades and deploy new technologies/features as the network environment evolves
  • Ability to apply security and networking concepts to emerging cloud solutions, including Azure and AWS
  • Strong fundamentals in disaster recovery, change management, logging and alerting, and incident response
  • Office located in São Paulo
  • Hybrid model (4 days/week in the office, 1 day/week remote)

Desired Qualifications

  • Extensive experience supporting Cisco Nexus switching a plus
  • Operational experience with SD-WAN solutions a plus
  • Operational experience with Cisco Meraki (SD-WAN and Wireless) a plus
  • Operational experience with Cisco enterprise wireless networking and design
  • Operational experience with DNS management a plus
