Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain network solutions to meet business needs while troubleshooting and resolving network issues to ensure minimal downtime. Monitor network performance, conduct regular assessments, and document configurations and diagrams. Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network performance and security, providing support for network-related projects and initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree, minimum two years of hands-on experience, and mandatory Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification, along with proficiency in routing protocols and security practices. Must be a Tanzanian citizen.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or related roles
- Valid Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification
- Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
- Experience with network security practices and technologies
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Must be Tanzanian
