Job Summary
Network Engineer at Civica to support, maintain, and enhance a global network infrastructure spanning office locations, cloud platforms, data centers, and enterprise connectivity. Independently troubleshoot switching, routing, firewall, wireless, and connectivity services; perform patching and firmware upgrades; assist with infrastructure deployment, migration, and transformation initiatives; collaborate with platform/hardware/network engineers and vendors; and maintain runbooks and documentation while driving stability, standardisation, and automation across the network environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in supporting enterprise environments utilizing Fortinet, Cisco, and Meraki technologies.
- Layer 2 switching technologies and the design/troubleshooting of VLANs.
- Firewall operations, Layer 3 routing technologies, and policy management, along with Azure network connectivity (VPN) expertise.
- Concepts of Internet Breakout and SD-WAN.
- Experience with High Availability (HA) and failover systems.
- Diagnosing network issues and analysing packets and logs.
- Using Grafana to monitor networks.
- Capable of comprehending and implementing structured change management procedures.
