Job Summary
Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches to ensure secure connectivity across client infrastructures. Design and deploy network solutions aligned with client requirements, including upgrades, expansions, and hardware replacements. Conduct physical inspections for device power, cabling, and airflow, while performing connectivity testing and executing hardware replacements. Collaborate with remote support teams via secure sessions to resolve issues and conduct post-resolution validation using ping tests, trace routes, and throughput checks. Update ITSM tickets, record spare parts usage, and maintain network diagrams and CMDB after changes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Network Administration and Network Engineering
- Strong knowledge of network design, implementation, and security best practices
- Hands-on expertise in configuring and operating routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex network issues under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Strong communication, teamwork, and client-facing abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, or higher-level Cisco certifications
