Job Summary
Network Engineer responsible for maintaining and securing company networks, configuring Aruba wireless hardware including Mobility Conductor, Mobility Controllers, Access Points, and switches; performing RF planning, site surveys, and tuning for optimal coverage; implementing and monitoring 802.1X/RADIUS-EAP-TLS authentication and ClearPass RBAC; creating firewall rules and updating security systems; providing on-site installation and support; updating firmware; delivering Tier 2/3 support to diagnose and resolve wireless connectivity and performance issues; and participating in on-call rotations with overtime and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ year of network related work experience
- Possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to execute excellent customer service relationship skills
- Ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience in the implementation and operation of wireless networks is a plus. (Cisco or Aruba)
- Prior experience providing network administration a plus
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) a plus
