Job Summary

Senior Network Engineer/Architect responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining a secure, scalable enterprise network supporting DTRA within the I3TS contract. Responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers; managing Unified Communications (CUCM); leading complex network projects; implementing NAC with Cisco ISE for Zero Trust; monitoring performance and optimizing throughput; deploying routing protocols (BGP/OSPF); configuring TACLANE encryptors with Agile VLAN for Layer 2 security; supporting portable deployable comms kits; documenting network diagrams and standards; ensuring security policy compliance and scalability; collaborating with government partners and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Network Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline with 8-12 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Current DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification (Security+ and CCNA)
  • Proven experience in engineering and sustaining enterprise network infrastructure in DoD or other federal environments
  • Hands-on experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF), network security (NGFW, IDS/IPS), and load balancing
  • Experience with configuring routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN solutions from vendors like Cisco, and Palo Alto.
