Job Summary
Design, implement, and optimize customer networks IAW ICD 503 while planning and leading network projects for installation and upgrades. Investigate and resolve operational problems, manage IP address space allocation, and configure, deploy, and maintain firewalls. Monitor syslog events, conduct regular performance tests, and document resolution for escalated support issues. Collaborate with systems architects, security officers, and CNDSP to create security measures and assist in RMF A&A activities. Research new technologies to present upgrade suggestions. Requires TS/SCI clearance, 5-7 years of networking experience, and DoD 8140 IAT II certification.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Clearance w/current Polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelors degree
- 5-7 years of relavent networking experience
- DoD 8140 IAT II Level certification
- At least 5 years working with Juniper and Cisco routers and switches, firewalls deployment, configuration, and migration
- Working knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms, services, architectures/ designs, and best practices
