Job Summary
Direct resolution activities for junior staff and lead complex strategic initiatives, patching, and infrastructure projects. Troubleshoot and distinguish between network and application issues, trace security vulnerabilities, and coordinate patching schedules. Consult on Technology plans, update network diagrams, and act as a vendor liaison for assigned systems. Purchases, installs, and supports LAN/WAN communications while adhering to change control procedures. Works day shift with potential after-hours and weekend efforts.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS
- 5 years of job related experience
- 3 years of technology experience with IT/Datacom or network infrastructure
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to use general office equipment
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent knowledge of end user devices and network hardware and software technology
- CCNA - Cisco
- CCNP – Cisco
- Management approved certifications (e.g. firewall)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Frequent kneeling/crawling/stooping
- Frequent driving (car, van, truck)
- Must be available for after hours and weekend efforts
Desired Qualifications
- Strong Understanding of Network Cloud Services (API Gateways, VPCs, Direct Connect, Route 53, Express Route, etc.)
- Observability tooling for large enterprises (Datadog, Netcool or other monitoring tools)
- Scripting languages (Python, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
