Job Summary
Design and implement network solutions including load-balancing, VPNs, firewall contexts, and traffic shaping for medium to large-scale telecommunication infrastructures. Optimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management by conducting data captures and utilizing monitoring tools to minimize latency. Configure, deploy, and maintain network devices, interfaces, and methodologies while overseeing support for all network equipment. Manage assigned tasks, provide guidance to junior engineers, and develop mission architecture designs to meet partner requirements. Integrate hardware and software to satisfy ISO 9000 and DoD/IC regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance
- US Citizenship
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Six (6) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support and training commensurate with network engineering curriculum
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
- Eight (8) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support (in lieu of Master's degree)
- Six (6) years experience providing Network Engineering support and a Certification in an industry standard (Arista Configuration Essentials, Cisco Certified Network Associate, or Juniper Certification Tracks (Automation & DevOps, Cloud, Data Center, Design, Enterprise Routing and Switching, Junos Security, ServiceProvider Routing and Switching)) (in lieu of Master's or Bachelor's degree)
