Job Summary
Partner with executive leadership and the Board to establish strategic priorities for quality, safety, and performance improvement. Lead deployment of the Patient Safety Plan, oversee the AH Reporting and Learning System, and direct root cause analysis for high-risk events. Provide expert consultation on national performance standards while developing and monitoring safety goals to drive measurable results. Recruit and mentor staff to build internal expertise, facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration to remove care gaps, and present actionable insights to inform executive decision-making. Requires a Bachelor's degree, seven years of healthcare experience, five years in quality leadership, clinical background, and CPHQ or CPPS certification. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field
- Seven years' of health care or related experience
- Five years' leadership experience in quality, patient safety, performance improvement, or healthcare administration
- Clinical background
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LGB)
- All required vaccinations
- E-Verify participation
