Job Summary
Design and maintain automations to manage enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Troubleshoot TCP/IP traffic and analyze packets using Wireshark, TCPDump, and Flow Monitor Capture. Implement multi-protocol routing solutions with BGP, OSPF, and VRF-based networks while configuring Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls. Manage TLS/SSL configurations, certificate operations, and AAA technologies for access control. Deploy and optimize load balancing solutions and DNS-based traffic management within production environments. Requires Secret clearance with Tier 5 investigation, Python/Bash scripting skills, and experience with F5 LTM. Core4ce strengthens national security and supports innovation through The Forge program.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with network automation/scripting (REST APIs, Bash/C-shell, Python)
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance w/Tier 5 investigation
- Strong knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP network models, TCP 3-way handshake, and window scaling
- Knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, LISP)
- Experience with Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls
- Experience with F5 LTM for load balancing and security
- Familiarity with network packet capture tools (TCPDump, Wireshark)
- Experience in TLS/SSL security, OpenSSL, and certificate management
- Experience working with Unix/Linux-based systems
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Client Constrained Delegation (C3D)
- Knowledge of F5 ASM, APM, BIG-IP DNS
- Understanding of essential network services (DNS, SMTP, NTP, IMAP, SNMP)
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting load-balanced services and SSL certificate management
