Job Summary
Research and diagnose provider data issues by evaluating conflicting information across claims processing and record management systems. Determine root causes of discrepancies, assess downstream impacts on adjudication and compliance, and apply judgment to resolve problems within scope or escalate appropriately. Perform provider, location, and payee data updates per established standards while documenting research, decisions, and outcomes to ensure auditability. Manage prioritized work from multiple intake channels and provide clear findings to cross-functional partners. Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to data standards and operational reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience in a data-centered, technical, analytical, or metrics-based operations role
- Strong working knowledge of provider data, claims processing, and downstream data dependencies across reporting, compliance, and operational processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
