Job Summary
The Network Automation Administrator (tier III) is responsible for administering the network environment and managing support cases. Key responsibilities include investigating and deploying fixes for devices, implementing security practices, and working on application performance issues. The role also requires collaborating with DBAs and Unix administrators to resolve database and system issues, administering supplier best practices, and ensuring the successful upgrade and testing of environments. Additional tasks involve log file management, updating troubleshooting guides, disaster recovery planning, and overseeing projects related to system integration and custom development.
Required Qualifications
- Proven implementation success with numerous fortune 500 clients
- Experience with HP Software, VMWare, and IT Operations
- Ability to administer network environments and support ticketing
- Knowledge of security standard practices
- Experience in database troubleshooting and Unix administration
- Capability to administer recommended practices for applications and databases
