Job Summary
Senior Network Engineer Expert responsible for managing Core Network, Datacenter and Campus segments, delivering and troubleshooting corporate network infrastructure, monitoring performance and faults, configuring routers/switches/firewalls/IPS/NAC/RADIUS/load balancers/WiFi controllers, and maintaining technical documentation. Requires Cisco CCNA or equivalent, 5+ years in networking, advanced Cisco Nexus/ASR/ISR knowledge, BGP/OSPF/EIGRP/MPLS, firewall/NAC/load balancer experience, monitoring/configuration management familiarity, basic Windows/Linux skills, and strong English proficiency. Hybrid on-site in Rome with on-call availability; additional Nice-to-have CCNP and other vendor technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in networking
- Experience managing Datacenter, Campus, and Core network infrastructures
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco Nexus, Cisco ASR1000/9000, and Cisco ISR platforms
- Advanced knowledge of Layer 2 protocols (STP, LACP, HSRP, VRRP) and WiFi technologies
- Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS
- Experience with firewalls, IPS probes, NAC systems, and load balancers
- Experience with monitoring and configuration management systems
- Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Excellent written and spoken English
