Job Summary
Network Administrator responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing OTAVA’s managed network infrastructure. Responsibilities include configuring, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and related network equipment; monitoring performance, availability, and security; handling incidents through established support processes; participating in change management; collaborating with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Support teams; documenting network configurations and procedures; and providing on-call support. Required hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, QoS, NAT, VoIP, IP routing, switching, VPNs, Windows Server, and Cisco IOS and/or FortiOS, plus 3+ years in enterprise networks. Candidate should have strong TCP/IP knowledge, network security concepts, virtualization (VMware NSX), and familiarity with Azure/AWS cloud networking. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE4, VSP, ITIL are preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent experience in a network admin or IT support role.
- 3+ years of experience with enterprise network environments
- Experience with Cisco IOS and/or FortiOS/Clavister OS
- One or more relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE4, VSP, ITIL
