Job Summary
Coordinate ticket acceptance and resolutions for enterprise network break fixes, configuration updates, and technology upgrades for routers and switches. Conduct approved network changes including VLAN, ACL, and port assignments while performing IOS and routing equipment upgrades. Resolve systems failures and accessibility problems through detailed information gathering, root cause analysis, and incident ticket closure. Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for network operations and support site survey and engineering designs. Provision new switches, routers, and cryptographic devices using administrative access. Perform routing and switching equipment technology upgrades to ensure continued enterprise operations. Works independently in remote locations with minimal input from other tiers.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph
- A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience
- A Master's degree with 3+ years of experience
- A PhD with 1+ years of experience
- 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree requirement
- Experience with various routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, or 802.1x)
- Experience with Cisco-ISE
- Knowledge of KG-175 Series TACLANES configuration process, fault isolation, and firmware upgrade procedures
- Familiarity Cisco and Juniper network devices
- Active IAT Level II Certification
- Active CCNA Certification
