Job Summary
Provide system administration support for LAN, WAN, web, and communication systems across classified and unclassified environments. Support network security for command and control systems and develop documentation required to certify classified and unclassified network systems. Perform VMware server administration, including high-availability solutions, and assist with installation of communications cabling. Conduct analysis of system usage, user complaints, and traffic interruptions while resolving integration issues between new systems and existing infrastructure. Manage help desk operations, including IT trouble tickets and user access to government acquisition applications. Maintain a Secret Clearance and work on-site at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in the respective discipline, including 3 years in the DoD
- 7 years of directly related experience, including 5 years in the DoD
- DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in information systems technology and computer science
- Background in business systems
- Proficiency with LAN/WAN environments and VMware server administration
- Experience supporting classified and unclassified networks
- Familiarity with DIACAP or RMF processes
- Knowledge of government IT applications including ABSS, CAS, CPARs, JCALS, JEDMICS, and DSAMS
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience supporting DoD personnel and cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage help desk operations in a classified environment
