Job Summary
Network Engineer – Level 2 (Data Center) responsible for managing and optimizing data center network infrastructure by designing, configuring, and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers to ensure peak performance and capacity. Collaborates with Level 1/2 support teams, OEM vendors, and internal server/storage teams to resolve escalated incidents and integrate cross-platform solutions. Ensures compliance with data center security standards by managing firewall rules, VPN configurations, and network access controls. Requires 8+ years in network operations with senior/Level 2 experience and expertise in OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, and spine-leaf architectures, plus advanced troubleshooting in high-availability environments and RCA execution.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in network operations, with at least 4 years specifically in a senior or Level 2 support role
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking protocols and architectures, including OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, and spine-leaf architecture
- Proven ability in advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving within high-availability environments, including RCA and managing complex LAN/WAN issues
