Job Summary
Analyze and simulate network traffic to resolve issues or test configurations in virtual and physical lab environments. Monitor system utilization and circuit bandwidth, reporting anomalies to government team leads. Develop, execute, modify, or remove scripts to automate tasks. Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate rework and support auditing. Requires 7+ years of network administration experience, Security+ and CCNA certifications, and a Top Secret clearance with SCI access. Full-time position at Lackland AFB supporting the Air Force Intranet Control III program.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in network administration and support
- HS diploma or GED
- Security+ certification
- CCNA certification
- US Citizen
- current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI)
- ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately in an empathetic and understanding manner
Desired Qualifications
- CCNP certification
- CCIE certification
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Experience with network monitoring and management using an automated solution
