Network Administrator

Job Summary
The Network Administrator installs and configures network hardware and software, monitors and maintains network infrastructure, ensures security for the organization’s network, performs configuration tasks under guidance, resolves networking tickets, supports the help desk, participates in on-call rotation, researches new technologies for implementation, and collaborates with IT team members. Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience with specific networking technologies and protocols, and a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, along with recognized security certifications combined with experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in Juniper, Palo Alto, and Cisco Operating Systems
- 2 years’ experience in LAN/WAN design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance
- 2 years’ experience with TCP/IP networking protocols, VPN configuration and implementation
- 2 years’ experience with WAF technologies, web-filtering software and security modules
- Working knowledge of design, implementation, and maintenance of LANs and WANs
- Strong understanding of enterprise networks
- Practical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of industry best practices
Additional Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
