Network Activation Engineer (Hybrid)

Job Summary
Network Activation Engineer responsible for network activations and migrations, troubleshooting, and delivering technical solutions across SD-WAN, IPsec, NaaS, MPLS, and SSL VPN. Collaborates with carriers and customers to design routing policies, establish BGP peerings, and ensure reliable traffic flow. Implements cloud deployments (Azure, AWS), manages virtual appliances (FortiGate, Silverpeak), and configures centralized policy management (FortiManager). Works with routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP) and authentication methods (RADIUS, LDAP, SAML); enables UTM features and maintains detailed activation documentation. Requires strong network engineering skills, customer-facing communication, and willingness to work hybrid schedule (onsite 3 days, 2 days remote). Certifications such as NSE4/NSE7/CCNA/CCNP are highly encouraged and relevant work experience (5-7 years) is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 5-7 years of relevant networking/engineering experience
- Experience with configuring/troubleshooting routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Knowledge of SD-WAN, IPsec, NaaS, MPLS, SSL VPN
- Familiarity with network devices (Fortinet, Meraki, Cradlepoint, ADVA, Silverpeak)
- Experience with cloud integrations (Microsoft Azure, AWS)
- Understanding of authentication methods (RADIUS, LDAP, SAML) and UTM features
