NetSuite Systems Developer (Contractor - 1 year)

Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain SuiteScript 1.0/2.x scripts, configure workflows, and build custom integrations using SuiteTalk and Mulesoft Composer. Analyze business processes in Finance, Operations, and Sales to recommend automation, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure data integrity across systems like Salesforce and Stripe. Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, provide tier-2 support for complex debugging, and manage release cycles with QA and PMO teams. This one-year contract role may transition to full-time at JMP HQ in Cary, NC, offering comprehensive medical, 401k, and tuition assistance benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 3–5 years of NetSuite development experience with SuiteScript (1.0/2.x), SuiteFlow, and SuiteTalk
- Strong understanding of accounting and ERP concepts (GL, AR/AP, item fulfillment, invoicing)
- Experience designing or maintaining integrations using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware (Mulesoft, Celigo, Dell Boomi, etc.)
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce, OCI, or other cloud ERP/CRM platforms
- Familiarity with front-end scripting or modern JS frameworks (React, Node.js) a plus
- Experience with performance tuning and NetSuite governance limits
- NetSuite Developer, SuiteFoundation, or Administrator certification
- Preferred location of Cary, NC at JMP HQ, but will consider other locations
