Job Summary
NetSuite Engineer 3 - Business Systems responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations, customizations, and enhancements within NetSuite and ERP system landscape. Focus on integration strategies with ERP systems (Tax Engine, CRM, Billing, Coupa, Concur), vendor partnership coordination, and leading technology roadmap initiatives. Collaborates with finance, order-to-cash, revenue, sales, and data warehousing teams to deliver enterprise-grade scalable solutions, ensure system compliance, and guide junior engineers. Requires extensive NetSuite experience, SuiteScript, web services (REST/SOAP), SQL/XML/JSON, and hands-on scripting; must translate business priorities into technical solutions and drive process improvements and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years as a NetSuite Engineer with hands-on customizations and script development
- Experience designing core business flow and functional/technical solution landscapes for complex projects
- Experience in Order-to-Cash, Record to Report, Revenue and Procure-to-Pay processes
- Proficiency in SQL, XML, JSON; Web services REST/SOAP; SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0
- Experience with Coupa and Concur integrations; familiarity with ASC 606, SOX, Multibooks, FAM, ARM modules in NetSuite
- Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business and IT
- Ability to translate strategic priorities into technical solutions; data-driven decision making
- Knowledge of databases and SQL; NetSuite upgrades and customizations
- Experience with HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX; scripting and automation in NetSuite
