Job Summary
NETA-Certified Technician responsible for testing, maintaining, and commissioning low- and medium-voltage electrical power systems. Performs detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and commissioning of equipment such as switchgear, transformers, protective relays, and power cables. Interprets electrical one-line diagrams, conducts ATS-related testing, Tan Delta and VLF testing of cables, and ensures safety and quality in both independent and team settings. Requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, NETA levels II–IV, NFPA 70B/70E/NEC knowledge, OSHA training, and willingness to travel (overnight up to 10%). Required Qualifications
- NETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV)
- 5+ years hands-on experience testing and evaluating low- and medium-voltage power systems
- OSHA Electrical Safety and NFPA 70E training
- Familiarity with NFPA 70B and NEC/IEEE/ANSI standards
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 10%
