Job Summary
Technical Lead owns and drives the strategy for the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more environments, applications, or platforms. Independently develops and sets best practices for clean, maintainable, testable code; conducts code reviews; serves as the deep technical expert and mentor for junior engineers; evaluates new technologies and their fit with product solutions; enforces security standards; defines high-level architectural guidelines; creates and reviews technical documentation; and drives the full software development life-cycle across environments. Requires 7+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and experience with .Net full-stack development, Jira, GitLab, and cross-team collaboration in a banking context. Hybrid work location across multiple US offices; compensation includes base salary and incentive components.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required)
- 7+ years of relevant experience (required)
- Proficiency in .Net Full-Stack development
- Experience with Jira for requirements and task tracking
- Experience with GitLab for code reviews and merges
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical tasks
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle
- Ability to develop and enforce security standards in code
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Experience leading and mentoring engineers
- Ability to design and articulate architectural guidelines
- Experience with performance and reliability considerations
- Knowledge of banking-domain considerations (preferred)
- Ability to work in a hybrid work setting
- Problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration
