Job Summary
Analyze, design, and support business applications built on the .NET platform by translating requirements into system specifications, use cases, and process flows. Conduct impact analysis for enhancements, design scalable architectures, and document functional and technical specifications including workflows and APIs. Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to guide testing, deployment, and code reviews while defining test scenarios and supporting SIT and UAT. Provide L2/L3 production support for .NET applications, troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate defect resolution. Ensure adherence to SDLC, ITIL, and compliance standards. Min 5 years of .NET experience required; on-call rotation and occasional travel in Asia time zone.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in .NET / C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and web services (REST, SOAP)
- Hands-on experience with IIS, Web application development, and Windows Application Development
- Strong SQL skills with SQL Server (querying, performance tuning, troubleshooting)
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools
- Experience with ITIL, ServiceNow, or any ticketing system process
- Experience supporting high-volume, business-critical applications, e.g., EDI
- Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to convert business needs into technical specifications
- Ability to work under pressure in high-availability production environments (supporting manufacturing plants with an expected shorter resolution time)
- Strong communication and presentation skills with end users and business stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Min 5 years of experience in .NET/web application development or support area
- Understanding of manufacturing back office, shop floor operation, and trading companies' operation is value added
- Eager to work on-call or non-standard hours (Asia time zone) whenever necessary
- Eager to travel occasionally as required
