Net Metering Specialist

Process applications, review requests, and interact with customers to create and manage orders for new electric and gas service projects. Screen and interpret utility requirements to design infrastructure, then create initial shells for technical customer projects ensuring high accuracy. Generate invoicing, refunding agreements, and meter set orders while reviewing interconnection applications for compliance with NJ Board of Public Utilities standards. Answer customer inquiries regarding the interconnection program and job status, then create net meter work orders in the Work Management System to route to the Electric Division. Follow up on past-due jobs, review division responses, and update tasks throughout the process including issuing meter sets and entering account numbers. Track receipt of UCC certificates and coordinate the issuance of Utility Acceptance letters.
